1、Project content：

This event uses "Lotus" as the medium, and invites representatives of artists from Hong Kong, Macao and the nine cities of the Pearl River Delta, as well as primary and secondary school students from Panyu and Guangzhou, to walk into Guangzhou Lotus Mountain and Yuexiu Mountain Park together, capture the beauty of nature with a brush, and feel the pulse of the development of the Greater Bay Area. Through this event, the cultural characteristics of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area will be showcased, and the cultural characteristics of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area will be further united and cultural exchanges and integration will be promoted.

1、Background and purpose of the event

In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and closely focus on the distinctive theme of loving the party, the country and socialism, the Propaganda Department of the Guangzhou Municipal Party Committee and the Propaganda Department of the Panyu District Party Committee carefully planned the Guangzhou Art Exhibition and the "Lotus Song" art sketching activity.

The purpose of this event is to use "Lotus" as a medium, and sincerely invite representatives of artists from Hong Kong, Macao and the nine cities of the Pearl River Delta, as well as primary and secondary school students from Panyu and Guangzhou, to walk into the Lotus Mountain and Yuexiu Mountain Park in Guangzhou, capture the beauty of nature with a brush, and feel the pulse of the development of the Greater Bay Area. Participants:

1. There are about 36 representatives of artists from various cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, including 6 representatives of Macao artists, 5 representatives of Hong Kong artists, 7 representatives of Guangzhou artists, 5 representatives of Panyu artists, 5 representatives of Yuexiu artists, and 7 representatives of oil painting artists.

2. There are about 50 art teachers and students in Panyu and Yuexiu District.

5、Activity itinerary：

1. Check-in and check-in (October 25, 2024)

Representatives of artists (about 40 people) stayed at the Lianhuashan Guangdong Village Hotel in Guangzhou.

2. Sketching of Lotus Mountain in Guangzhou (October 26, 2024)

(1) The launching ceremony of the "Lotus Song" art sketching activity was held on the stage of Wonderland Lake.

(2) Artists will sketch in the Lotus Mountain tourist area (including Lotus Wonderland, ancient quarry, heron bird habitat and other scenic spots) to capture the natural beauty and cultural heritage of Lotus Mountain.

3. Yuexiu Park Sketching (October 27, 2024)

On the morning of October 27, I went to Yuexiu Park for sketching. After dinner, the event dissolves on its own.

6、Launching ceremony and sketching process

Location: Wonderland Lake Plaza

(1) Opening Ceremony (10:30-10:40)

2. Opening remarks by the host (introducing the background, purpose and guests of the event)

Set up a launch area on the large screen, and guests can start the event by touching the screen, while the screen displays the corresponding animation or video.

All leaders, guests and artist representatives took a group photo to record the precious moments of this cultural event.

(4) Visit the Lotus Mountain Scenic Area (11:15-11:35)

Get on the bus at Wonderland Lake Square → Ancient Quarry→ Lotus Wonderland→ Heron Bird Habitat→ Lotus City→ Lotus Tower→ Yuehai Village (working lunch);

After lunch, the artist representative will return to the hotel room for a lunch break.

(5) The afternoon of October 26

A sightseeing bus will be arranged at the entrance of Yuehai Village to be on standby to send the artist representatives to the designated place to sketch or take pictures.

Sketching site: Lotus Wonderland (Hongqiao, Cultural Corridor, Yilian Lake, Stream), Ancient Quarry (Yanle Pavilion, Baifutu, Bilian Pond, Eight Immortal Rocks, Lion Stone), Lotus Tower, Lotus City.

Dinner (19:00)

(6) Group ride/self-drive to Yuexiu Mountain Park (departure at 9:30)

From 9:00 to 9:30, pick up the bus at the entrance of the Guangdong Village Hotel, and the journey takes about 1.5 hours
